Hello. Today I thought I’d share a card I made with you. I used the Elephant Hearts stamp set by Sweet Stamp Shop. If you haven’t bought any of their stamps, you really should give them a try. Their quality is amazing and the images are adorable. Nicole is always coming up with some of the cutest designs. In fact, check out their Facebook page and keep watching for the new September released stamps. There is a sneak peek there you don’t want to miss. Continue reading

Calling all Doctor Who fans. . . I just got done creating this amazing card for my friend Ken Kindler over at Crafts By Two for his birthday. I really wanted to make something special for him and I knew he was a fan of Doctor Who so when
I found this cut file at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons I knew it would be the perfect card for him. I used my Cricut Explore to add some personal touches also. It’s the little details on this card that make it so amazing. I had a lot of fun with the inside also. The card was a little late so wrote a belated birthday greeting to him Whovian Style and even included Happy Birthday in Gallifreyan. Check out the photo gallery below to see more pictures of this fun project. This card is also available for purchase in my shop. It is there you can also order the customized version of the card. Remember, there is always free shipping on any order of $10 or more and free local delivery for any size order if you are in the Colorado Springs area. Crafts By Two also featured the card on their YouTube channel in this Two’s Got Mail video from July 2014. If you don’t follow their channel you really should. They have amazing tutorials, hauls and crafting fun. Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for following me.
Hello! Now that most of us have had our Cricut Explore for a little while, we have started venturing out beyond the basics. Or maybe you are new to Cricut and are just learning. First, congrats on your new machine if you are a newbie! It is an amazing tool in our crafting world. The Explore has MANY new things it can do and they are constantly adding more features. One of the many awesome things the Cricut Explore can do is it has the ability to use fonts from your computer (system fonts). If you have never downloaded a font before, this may be a mystery to you. I will warn you though, once you start . . . it’s hard to stop. You will find before too long you have hundreds of fonts on your computer to pick from. Now, once it is downloaded, how do you use it in Design Space?
I have created a little video tutorial below that will decode the mystery of downloading a font onto your computer and using it in Design Space. BUT, the possibilities don’t stop there. Once you have that font installed it is available to use in ANY program on your computer that uses fonts. Watch the video then like, share and comment and let me know what you think. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I’d be happy to help.
Have a wonderful day and HAPPY CRAFTING!!

I have a fellow crafter and blogger that I love to follow. Her name is Melody Lane and she does awesome crafting videos and even has a daily vlog channel of other things she does in her day. Her website is full of great information and project ideas and there is always something to learn from her You Tube crafting tutorials. Today she posted a video on how to make your own colored foam adhesive and I just had to share. It is awesome and something I can’t believe I never thought of. Can’t wait to give it a try and save money making foam dots (or squares, strips, triangles, etc) in colors to match my project. Check out her sites and check out this video. It is and AWESOME idea!
Yesterday on The Washi Blog they featured Washi Tape Halloween Favors by Feathered Arrow Press. They were so cute I couldn’t help but share and give a shout out to a friend’s small business. Check out the post here at The Washi Blog and also go check out Feathered Arrow Press. Her shop is beautiful and she has some fun new wall art available in her store starting today. Do you have plans to use Washi Tape to make Halloween decorations, cards or projects? Share them with me. I’d love to see what you are working on.
