We hope you have enjoyed our ‘Tis the Seasons Video Hop this week. I know we have had so much fun sharing our projects with you and showcasing some of the amazing files that are created by Leo and Mary at SVGCuts.com. If you have missed any of the videos, there are links at the end of this post to each of them. Make sure you haven’t missed any of them. There are some fun projects showing all the exciting and different ways you can use the SVG Cuts files.
Also, if you have been following along, you should have also been collecting all the code words to be entered in the drawings to win one of five $20 gift cards to SVGCuts.com. One entry will also win a Sizzix Big Shot and EVERYONE with the correct code words will receive a coupon code good for 25% off your purchase at SVGCuts.com on November 27th (Coupon valid November 27th and 28th ONLY). For more info on the contest and when the giveaways will be, check out my blog post . . . ‘Tis the Seasons Video Hop – The Final Stop.
Enough of the chatter . . . on to my project. Today I used the file A Good Day at the Office to create this beautiful and fun coffee cup gift box that also uses embellishments from the file Christmas Cheer to decorate it. As an added bonus, I show you how to make the Reverse Gate Fold Gift Card Holder from Everyday Winter Cards. Due to issues with my camera, I actually made TWO coffee cups. The green one is the one I assemble in the video. The white cup is actually the one I made the first time around.
Just a few of the products I used on this project:
- Paper: Close to My Heart Yuletide Carol
- Ink: Close to My Heart in the colors Black, Ruby, New England Ivy and Desert Sand
- Stamp Sets: Close to My Heart stamp sets Merry, Merry and Merriest Christmas
Check out my video below and see how I put this together. It was fun and it would be so easy to make this with bright papers for a birthday, maybe school themed for a teacher, hearts and flowers for Valentine’s Day . . . the possibilities are endless. I filled my cup with hot cocoa and instant coffee but you could fill it with candy, a small pair of socks, or anything tiny enough to fit.
If you have never worked with the SVGCuts files before or need help importing them into Cricut Design Space, watch one of these two short videos depending on your operating system.
